From Fantasy To Reality
Mexico City
Mexico City, officially known as México, D. F., or simply D. F.) is the federal district , capital of Mexico and seat of the federal powers of the union. Mexico City is the country's largest city as well as its most important political, cultural, educational and financial center. A modern and vibrant city energized by its people and culture. The city consists of sixteen boroughs with an estimated population of 21.2 million people in the Greater Mexico City. These stats make it the largest metropolitan area in the western hemisphere. Although very large in population, the city itself seemed much smaller and visitor friendly as we wandered from borough to borough. This is a city I would highly recommend and one that I will definitely return to.

The Stand
Papers galore from a street vendor near the Zocalo in Mexico City, Mexico. I loved that they seemed to have one of these old newspaper stand scattered all across the city. You would see people chatting up on the days news or simply a destination spot to chat with friends. A little piece of an age slowly disappearing.
