A Bridge in the Trees
A brightly colored suspension bridge at the hostel Poste Rojo in Nicaragua. The unique hostel is built entirely in the trees giving the guests a truly remarkable experience living in tree houses.
From the Palace of Culture off Central Park here in Granada. Newspaper articles & clippings from the 1990's to 2000's. So very intriguing but sad to see them gathering dust and being eaten slowly away by insects. This image gives them a kind of eerie glow and a cast of gloom.
A Day in the Life
Every day life in Granada. A nice lazy day on the front porch.
This is only one of the beautiful gardens in the newly renovated Casa La Merced Hotel here in Granada, Nicaragua. Very peaceful setting.
Nashville in Black & White 1
This image was a labor of love in the post department. Taken around 8 pm from the Shelby Street Bridge just as all the lights were coming up.
Nashville in Blue
This was a nice shot I took in 2014 of the downtown skyline.
Cathedral in Shades of Grey
The Cathedral of Granada stands proud and has a long and rich history. This black and white image I think helps bring out it's character.
Cathedral of Leon
A monochrome look at Leon's Cathedral...resembles a day gone by.
Concepcion Volcano in Lake Nicaragua
Concepción is one of two volcanoes (along with Maderas) that form the island of Ometepe, which is situated in Lake Nicaragua in Nicaragua, Central America. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concepci%C3%B3n_(volcano)
Art of the Underground
This is one of the underground rail stations in Buenos Aires. I feel in love with all the colors and artistic freedom of this city. I will definitely return and on my list as a must see destination.
The Red Bucket
This lone red bucket and broom caught my attention. So many textures in one image.
A great little coffee shop and bookstore in the heart of San Juan del Sur. San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua is a small surfing town Southwest of Granada by approximately 60 miles on the Pacific Ocean. The El gato Negro is a hidden gem in the small surfing haven.
Shades of Sunset
This little tree in the foreground makes for the perfect contrast to all the wonderful colors of the setting sun. Nothing quite like a sunset on the beach.
